We provide full domestic and commercial short term insurance solutions as well as specialized commercial risk solutions. This means that we provide insurance broking services for companies and private individuals. We arrange insurance cover for buildings, vehicles, business risks, household contents etc.

Rationale for using an insurance broking service

After concluding our research into the insurance market in South Africa we found that insurance provided by brokers was often cheaper than direct insurers and clients enjoyed better service levels from brokers than from the direct insurers. It is our experience that the real benefit of insurance brokers is added when it comes to the processing of claims. It is at this stage that clients find out whether they were correctly insured and if there are problems then it is the broker who will assist the client in resolving the issues. The broker also has access to the insurance market as a whole, and so is in a position to obtain quotes from various underwriters in order to fully address the needs of the client. The direct insurance market has a very restricted product range which often leaves the client exposed to additional excesses or even uninsured for certain events.

• Private individuals: We provide cover for buildings, household contents, motor vehicles, personal effects such as jewellery, art, travel insurance, boats

• Companies: We cover business risks, buildings, vehicles, contents, computer equipment, stock, goods in transit, Professional Indemnity

• Farms: We cover specialised risks for farmers such as spread of fire.

• Importers: We provide marine insurance for importers.
