Galileo Capital Structured Products and Risk Management Solutions is a division of Galileo Capital (Pty) Ltd with representation in Cape Town and Johannesburg. The focus of the division is on developing and maintaining best practice in:

The team, headed by Theo Vorster, was formed in 1998 and has established itself as a market leader in South Africa for strategic financial risk management. The team has had a strong focus on the Agricultural sector, although it's activities were by no means limited to this sector. The team has embedded itself as a valued advisor and supplier of structured products and solutions, interest rate and foreign exchange derivative products, as well as strategic asset and liability management services to a number of agricultural co-operations, agricultural companies, fertilizer companies, milling companies and other related companies in the agricultural sector.

The team also provides advice on structured finance solutions to corporate entities across all sectors of the economy and has cooperation agreements with a number of banks and other financing institutions. In addition, we provide advice on corporate finance opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions.
